Thanks, Lucy! Yeah, 'The Art of Travel' is definitely an interesting book. Most books on this subject, like de Botton's, treat travel as an "art" and I think it'd be really interesting to take a look at what science has to say. Anyway, I recently read an essay in which de Botton was described as our society's "leading bibliotherapist" — which I think he should consider adopting as a formal title.
